Last week, I worked with the green screen, or "Chromakey" studio. The ever helpful Lydia posed for several hours, without any settings or background. But later, inspired by the sumptuous colours of her clothes, bought during a recent trip to India, I looked through my own India files from 1984. This is the result:
 


 

Lydia/Kashmir composite.Lydia/Kashmir composite.My 1970's experience with the BBC "CSO" or blue screen television special effects system is now brought to bear on the "Green Screen" process. Lydia was combined with my 1984 photograph of lotus flowers on Nageen Lake, Kashmir, India.
